Energy Exchange Series Seminar

Brisbane, Thursday 26 October 2017, 6.00 - 8.00pm

On behalf of The University of Queensland, in association with the Energy Policy Institute of Australia, please join us on Thursday 26 October 2017 for an Energy Exchange Series event. This will take the form of an evening presentation at 6.00pm, followed by a cocktail hour on the River Terrace.

Our keynote speaker will be Mr Ali Al-Saffar (Energy Analyst, Directorate of Global Energy Economics, International Energy Agency). Ali’s visit follows our very successful Energy Exchange presentation in February by the IEA Executive Director, Dr Fatih Birol.

Ali will present on “The Southeast Asia Energy Outlook 2017” which is a World Energy Outlook Special Report. Ali is the lead author of this report, due for publication in October. His presentation will be followed by a panel discussion and question and answer session.

The Energy Exchange Series is designed to facilitate broad industry discussion of global energy issues. Each event features internationally acclaimed speakers in a programme proudly supported by The University of Queensland, in association with the Energy Policy Institute of Australia.
